Adaptive kayaking has been a growing segment of the paddling industry for nearly two decades since the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 was passed.
Adaptive paddling, more recently referred to as universal paddling, strives to enable people of all abilities to participate in paddle sport activities as safely, comfortably, and with the same performance potential as all others.

In this Adaptive Paddling InfoGraphic, we provide a snapshot of the industry and share some highlights about this exciting part of the kayaking community.
