Try before you buy. A low-risk way to find your perfect adaptive paddle system.
At Angle Oar, we understand how important it is to find the right paddling setup—especially when you're accommodating a physical disability or injury. That’s why we offer a Demo Program (also known as our Adaptive Equipment Loan Program) that lets you try one of our supported paddle systems on your own kayak, so you can ensure it’s a good fit and meets your needs before making a purchase.
How It Works
For $125, we’ll ship a demo unit straight to your door. You’ll have 14 days to test the equipment and see how it works. Then, return it using a prepaid label and receive your deposit back.
Outbound Shipping & A Prepaid Return Label
We send the paddle system right to your door. You hang on to the original packaging and materials and repack it when you're done. Use the enclosed prepaid return envelope to send it back to us. $50 of the $125 fee is used to cover a portion of the shipping costs both ways. We cover the difference.
2 Weeks to Test the Equipment
Take up to two weeks to try the system. Mount it to your own kayak and take it for a spin (or several!). When you're done, remove all the mounting hardware and parts and send it back to us in good condition, so we can loan it out to the next person.
A $75 Refundable Deposit or Down Payment on a Purchase
The $75 portion of the $125 fee is a deposit to ensure the product's safe return. When the demo equipment is returned in good condition and with all parts intact, the $75 deposit is fully refunded—or it can be applied toward your purchase if you decide to buy.

Please note that outriggers, kayak carts and other accessories are not included in the equipment loan program at this time. Our loan program is currently available to US customers only, excluding Hawaii and Alaska. It you reside elsewhere, please contact us directly and we may be able to make other arrangements.
