Every Versa Paddle or Gamut Paddle Holder system purchased with our Hinged Mount already includes this track mount and a support post, the length of which has been designed to work with that particular system. Sometimes, however, the height of the support post is too high or too low due to design variations across kayaks models.
If you find the support post included with your Hinged Mount is not quite the right height, you can exchange it for a different post and/or purchase a second track mount and post to have one on hand for another paddler of a different height.
Our track mount uses two t-bolts and tightening knobs to slip into the track of our Hinged Mount. Slide it on the track to find just the right distance from your torso as you paddle.
