This 2" steel pin connects the two halves of your Versa Paddle, helping maintain a secure and consistent shaft connection while paddling.
 
The pin includes a small flat section that should be oriented toward the set screw for proper fit.
Because this connection is part of a moving system, the pin may loosen occasionally. It’s a good practice to check it before each outing. If needed, simply tighten the set screw using the 1/8" Allen wrench included with your original Versa Paddle.
