Some of Angle Oar's mounts incorporate RAM Mounts products, including this RAM 1" PVC Pipe Socket with Ball. Two of these components are included with our Hinged Mount, where they attach to the horizontal extender tubes and enable the mount’s adjustable width. By securing the ball joint/socket assembly to the end of the tubes (e.g., with electrical tape, PVC pipe cement or epoxy), you can easily shorten or lengthen your mount to perfectly fit the width of your kayak.
If you’ve misplaced one or both of your original ball joints, this is as an exact replacement part, restoring full functionality to your adjustable Hinged Mount setup.
